My instructor Gary was outrageously helpful and beneficial towards me getting my CDL. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor.
Quick and Easy
Galinda in the front office was very helpful and made the application portion of the program quick, easy, and painless. Denise and Grant are great instructors! They made learning fun and enjoyable. With their instruction taking the test was a breeze. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star review is because I felt that there should be more to the course as opposed to just strictly making sure that you pass the test. There should have been a bigger focus on coupling, uncoupling, pulling different types of trailers, a double trailer, and loaded tanker driving portion with instruction would be good too.
Minnesota School
Mark and Prierriss are awesome. This school and all the instructors and management are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Passed my driving exam first time thanks to this school. If you are planning on coming to a driving school, 160 Driving Academy is the school for you. Got job placement right out of school. Thanks Minneapolis 160 Driving Academy.

Best thing I've done since retirement
160 was a great school with a positive learning experience. I learned a lot and even witnessed people that were intimidated by semi trucks , that graduated from the school and walked into a job with confidence. I would recommend this school to everyone I know.

Fear not
In a world of automatic transmissions this school still teaches the manual. Which is good! Because then you’ll be qualified to drive both. Which is honestly a must. Trainers are great. I’m 6 months in and have worked at bertis carlson trucking and Nussbaum transportation. I was happy at both jobs and none of it would have been possible without this school. I stink at writing reviews but everyone was great here.
Life changing
I loved every minute of it. Everyone was so willing to help and when other schools told me for 3 months I had to wait I got right in here. They worked with me due to my work schedule and made it possible for me to do both. Ben,Randy and Tiffany took care of everything and were always willing to help no matter what. Instructors were awesome and would do all they could to make sure you succeed. My life has changed dramatically since I graduated. I know drive for Prarie Farms and couldn’t be happier! Thank you for everything 160 Driving Academy.
Awesome school
Awesome scoop great instructors and enviro hands down the best choice I’ve made to further my career. Miss church was amazing as far as getting any and all info needed. And the guys in the yard were amazing and a fountain of knowledge would definitely recommend.
