Best experiences in my life
Coming into this class I was very enthusiastic about earning my CDL. I felt so welcomed, and every instructor I encountered, treated me like family. They expanded my knowledge on so much, even more than I expected. Steve, Mark, Richard and Brian made my time very well spent, and allowed this experience to be so much fun! I surely recommend this company to everyone, they didn't just teach to just pass the test, they taught me so much more, like there personal experiences in the trucker industry. I was truly prepared by my instructors for the next chapters in my life. If your looking for a school that truly cares about getting you on the right track, this is the one and only. Last but not least, major shout out to 160 drive academy, and thankyou so much for allowing me to be a part of the 160 family!!!!
Why I would choose 160
160 was truly an amazing experience! Chad Davis the lead instructor is a wonderful teacher who is very passionate about teaching/coaching his students to their full potential as a driver. I've learned very valuable skills through all the instructors employed by 160 and look forward to applying them throughout my future trucking career. Thank you 160 for all you've done for me. If you are looking for a great learning experience, I highly recommend 160 Driving Academy!
Why I would choose 160DA
If you are serious about wanting your CDL, I would highly recommend 160 Driving Academy. Lead instructor Chad, Shawn and Zach are committed to making sure every student has every opportunity to reaching that goal.
Best Trucking School I've Ever Been To
Coming from a guy who overthinks a lot, Scott made me comfortable extremely quick and had a ton of patience with me including Zach, Bonnie and Dan. I gave Zach a pretty hard time for a bit for miscommunication performing some straight backs. Bonnie was very caring and took her time to explain things thoroughly and always answering my questions. Dan kind of like Scott had patience and guiding me when some days were tough. Every coach there will not hesitate to help you and have no problem explaining over and over until you get it. The day of my exam 9/10/2024 Scott kept on saying not to overthink it and that it's actually easy. While doing my test I took things very slow and tried to not miss anything within 40mins for the pre-trip then maneuvers. Thanks to Scott, Zach, Bonnie and Dan I managed to pass my CDL test first try! I just wanted to cry and yell but I can only process so many emotions at once I just went with the flow. I will never ever forget Scott's words 'Don't Rush To Failure'. Thank you 160, I truly love you guys a lot and this is only the beginning. You guys might only be teachers to me but I see you guys as friends. Honorable mentions to Chris and Lilibeth for having faith on me. I don't plan on forgetting you guys. For any new students or planning to apply for a trucking school, you won't regret going to this school, they will make you comfortable quickly which honestly helps you so much more than if you were to find them intimidating. Remember in school and during your test, Don't Rush To Failure! Take your time learning and write things down, that truly helps. During your test, don't overthink. Worry what you have in front of you. ONE and DONE BABY!
Just graduated
Going to 160 Driving academy was awesome. They worked with me and got me my cdl ASAP. Worth every penny. The instructors got me ready to go in with confidence and pass first try. Couldn't ask for more.
Class review
Marcus- good instructor helps with any questions you need answered and teaches you the basics on truck driving Keria- great instructor as well and makes sure you do what you’re supposed to do in order to be ready for your test
Dang ol Hank
Had a great time at this school. Jimbo is a great instructor and made learning and the long hours of practice enjoyable. Made some good friends here and felt confident before test day.
Learning to fly
160 driving academy The Chattanooga branch. All the instructors are amazingly educated at teaching driving and maneuvers. I switched from manual with automatic. Being a bit older I didn't really want to work in a manual truck. The instructors are laid back and very personable. Beth especially. When I first started I kind of thought she was pretty hard edged. But as the course progressed I realized it's what I needed to learn how to drive a semi safely and productively. Toniwas a big help in getting me started. There were a few hiccups on my parking but I was able to get it together with Toni's assistance in the timely manner. Bill, Emery and Scott are amazing teachers as well. I appreciate the staff and all they've taught me. I can't wait to get on the road and make the big bucks. If you're looking for a new career and driving OTR or local this is definitely a great place to start.
