Great instruction!

I’m particularly pleased with the instructors of this school. Both of my instructors during the first week on Zoom made it highly engaging and entertaining. Moreover, during the time out in the yard included a lot of hours out over the road and I particularly enjoyed going out driving with Matt. He always made comfortable behind the wheel, but also got us to pay attention to everything needed in order to prepare for the final exam. It was a great way to build confidence and I’m looking forward to going in for the final exam! Thanks Matt!

Awesome school

I just passed my cdl today. The instructors at the 160 academy in Lexington are absolutely amazing. I never thought I would be able to pass and they encouraged me every day. They are the best .

One and Done!!

Overall this is a great school the instructors were all very knowledgeable and gave you the exact information needed to pass your CDL exam the first time.. Class size may be big or small but you will receive the attention needed to get the job done. However ultimately your success 100% depends on YOU! You must motivate yourself to succeed! But i truly thank each and every one of my instructors Pete.. Mike .. Joe.. Russ.. Chris for giving me the tools i needed to be ONE AND DONE!!

The Best Place to Get Your CDL

The staff at the Raleigh NC, location are the best. The office staff will answer all your questions and assist you every step of the way through the whole registration process. The yard instructors are very experienced and knowledgeable. They are the most patient group of people you will ever meet. The whole environment, from the office to the yard is very conducive for learning and you will have your CDL and ready to hit the road with confidence. A big thank you, to all the staff at the Raleigh, NC location.

CdL

Awesome

Fun Experience

I really had a good time earning my CDL with 160's help. The Lexington location has a lot of combined experience in the trucking world and they each had great bits of information for the students. Id recommend them to anyone who is serious about getting your CDL. Just don't sign up thinking its going to be a walk in the park because it's not. You have to invest your own time into studying in order to pass your test. The staff is great, but none of them will let you test without knowing you are ready for it.

Amazing instructors

I went in knowing nothing about driving a truck from the time I signed up they made me feel confident that I will learn everything I needed to. They was patient with me, answer every question I had showed me everything that I needed to know. When I went to take my test I was confident in my abilities to take the test and I passed on my 1st time. Thanks to all the instructors they changed my life forever.

Great school

My experience was great. The school and the instructors was very supportive and helpful throughout my training. I most definitely recommend more people to come.

Grade A Training

160 driving academy was very knowledgeable the instructors was passionate about getting you through this course and learning the maneuvers as well as being knowledgeable about your pre-trip. The 160 instructors in Memphis works with the equipment/trucks they was given and if you can operate and maneuver in them trucks you can pretty much drive anything lol. I would like to say thank you to 160 for helping me accomplish my goal in receiving my CDL’s today was my graduation day.

Very friendly and helpful

My experience through 160 driving academy was a challenge but Julie got me the help I needed in order for me to get my permit. I struggled I was stressed I never really was good at taking test, when I got my permit after tutoring I was happy but that was only one part of the battle prior to getting my CDL. If it wasn’t for Julie’s help I wouldn’t be where I’m at she’s helped me when it came to motivation when I was at the yard practicing I thought driving trucks was going to be easy it wasn’t at all I failed so many times in order for me to pass and get moved to a test date it was funny how I pass pretrip and skills with flying colors but my road I failed the first time but I learned I was upset at times and I was motivated to get my CDL so I can make more money my goal is to drive for ups the company I currently work for and to live a happier life with my family. Julie and the team at 160 really helped me stay motivated even when I was loosing hope for myself. I really love what they did, one day I will come back to the classroom and the yard in my ups uniform if I’m allowed or driving my dream car just to say thank you again.
