Not one to leave reviews, but 160 Trucking is hands down one of the best and easiest places to learn how to drive trucks. The instructors are super accommodating and very helpful, answer every question diligently including if you ask the same thing multiple times with no issue. Huge shout out to some of the instructors, Keyon, James, Jacob, Erin and Dave. Super helpful and I wouldn’t have been able to get the class done as quick as I did if it wasn’t for them. I enjoyed every minute of the class as the instructors as a whole made it a fun learning experience. Thank you all!! (P.s just listen and study and you can be apart of the one and done club as many others have)
The best place to learn to drive a cdl vehicle
They are a great company. The lead instructor Chad and instructor Shawn are excellent teachers. They showed me a lot while I was here. Thank you so much guys!

160 was a awesome crew! They worked with you really well! Very fun and safe environment, would recommend to anyone who is interested in getting there CDL A! My favorite instructors were James and Jacob, they helped me graduate early and worked with you on everything you were struggling with! Would recommend to anyone!:

Very helpful to students as different needs arrive during training! Jamia got me signed up and into class the next day it was offered! Fast and Efficient. The gentlemen who work and run the yard are extremely helpful and professional. They even took a min to explain what I was doing wrong and how to correct the problem. Highly recommend anyone looking to get a Class A CDL attend 160 driving academy!

Where should I start? I have so many good things to say about Charlotte 160 Driving Academy. From the staff; Lamar, Tony, Tim, and Ms. Nikki. All four of them went above and beyond not only with me but with the other students. The professionalism and respect that they gave their students was top-tier! They made sure to answer any questions I had about the trucking industry. If your thinking about getting your CDL go right ahead to Charlotte 160 Driving Academy and say Ed sent you!
Amazing school and even more amazing staff
I wanted to write a review because a few days ago I was reflecting on my experience at drive 160. A couple weeks ago was one year since I passed my driving test. Getting my Class A license was the hardest thing I’ve done. I would Not have been able to get through everything if it wasn’t for the staff here. They don’t treat you like just another student, they actually take the time to explain things and go out of their way to help anyway possible. Anytime I need help with something. I would call Jen in the office or speak to the instructors. I can’t count how many times Jen went above and beyond to help me through some issues I was having and I wanted to say thank you to her. Also wanted to give a big grateful thank you to Mike and erin for not only explaining things to me throughout the process, but taking the time to actually show me a better way to handle the trucks and all that stuff. Erin is absolutely amazing. She actually takes the time to listen and explain when you have any questions or problems. so I want to say thank you Erin for helping me get where I am today if it wasn’t for a couple of the other Instructors as well as Jay and herb. but the extra thank you goes to Jen, erin, and Mike Without the help you guys gave me, I would not be where I am today as a successful Class A Driver. You also gave me a better understanding of the whole trucking industry. You three, especially, I want to say I am truly grateful for the help you guys gave me along the way to help me become successful. Thank you very much. What all of you are doing over there at Drive 160. It’s amazing in my life is better today because I went through Drive 160 and I wanted to say even though it’s been one year you guys are amazing and thank you very much for everything
