Amazing Training Experience!!
This training is second to none. Transitioning from a corporate world to the trucking world, I knew there would be a lot to learn. The class was informative and thorough. Instructor Andre Gambrell is stellar. He provided terrific instruction in a fun atmosphere. He leaned on his experience as a driver and in the military to give all of his students an outstanding learning experience. I could not be happier with 160 Driving Academy!

I honestly have to say 160 driving academy is a great school, my experience was exceptional the instructor there is knowledgeable. Rodney (the doctor) treated everyone with respect made sure the students were understanding lessons so they would pass their CDL test. He encouraged me daily to keep striving, he's really an incredible person who really cares about his students and them being successful and an all around great person. He goes above and beyond for his students. I would like to take this time and say thank you Doc(Rodney). I really enjoyed attending 160 Driving Academy School in Delaware. Rodney is a really phenomenal instructor. It's because of him that I was successful in getting my CDL.

Honestly i was a little nervous about going to this school, initially i was scheduled for the bluff rd yard and lets just say the blessing came when that yard got shut down, Between Phil believing in me and my instructors giving me great pointers and wonderful feedback on my progress i was able to pass my test on the first time. I will admit GAMES they are not playing so if you are not serious about getting your license dont waste yours nor their time. I can also appreciate the actions taking when a certain instructor was being unfair and bias..... Between PHIL PAT MATT and MIKE i can honestly say i am super happy with my school pick i am super happy with my learning experience and I WILL ALWAYS BE GRATEFUL TO THOSE WONDERFUL AMAZING FELLASSSSSSSSS.....THANK YOU SO MUCHHHHH MY LIFE HAS BEEN CHANGED FOR THE BETTER THANKS GUYS
Trust the process.
Before I started I had never driven a manual transmission car. But after attending the Peoria branch I acquired my class A CDL after the first time testing. The instructors were calm and patient and eager to answer and acknowledge all questions and concerns. I would recommend in a heartbeat!

I had a grate time at 160 driving academy, the instructor Eddie is really amazing he’s out there helping everyone pass & he makes sure you’re ready. He helped me pass 1st try

Outstanding Instructors Who Actually Care
I cant express it enough when i went into this i had no experience with a stick shift and i wanted to challenge myself to do it and rob made it possible for me and everyone i watched him work with made it so much easier and just took the stress away and our nerves were gone. he made it so comfortable for us to do it and simple. along with mike he made everything fun and less stressful by just being him. i cant express how happy i was to go through this schooling program. i will send anyone that wants to get a cdl to you guys with out a doubt

Each day is dedicated to ensure you’re learning everything you need to know about your final exam. After your hours are up, you can schedule your final exam provided the State Examiners on location.
Great experience
I have some previous experience with the military but the instructors enhanced my knowledge and learnedquitea bit that i had never done before,Mike ,Rob and Pat have great experiences and knowledge with patients for the students that have never been that close to a semi (combination vehicle). They gave me steps to doing the skills that made me feel comfortable doing them,also had fun With Mike when we had VIP'S at the yard showing what we could do and thanks to Phil for pushing me to do what I do.
Great Place To Learn For Real
The guys there are excellent teachers especially the guy there named Rob I did not know how to drive a stick and never had in my life and I was driving a manual truck the first day I got in one so those guys are awesome!
