Great experience
Had a great experience ! Erik was a great help to get me started and My instructors Kenny and Derek were very patient, kind, and knowledgeable. They made me have the confidence I needed to past my test on the first try ! Thank you 160 driving academy !
Awesome experience & instructors
160 Driving has been a great experience for myself. We can go ahead and acknowledge there were a few hiccups that happened that caused a couple of setbacks. But did not tarnish the actual experience itself. I went through their weekend program and the instructors that were present were/are great. Kaleel, Vernon, Nikki, Charles, Eric, & Richard are all great at what they do at Teaching/Instructing. Very helpful with any question asked, gives full detailed instruction on what to do and the pros/cons of operating a CMV, energetic to see students succeed, and overall again great teachers. They really push you to take the time to learn in class and out of class to be successful. Although some students decide to play around, be on their phones, and not take it serious are the ones that struggle and can have negative opinions. The tools are given to the students and at the end of the day it is up to us as students to take the tools and build from it. The instructors are there to help guide & teach us the skills & information to operate a CMV and again Kaleel, Nikki, Vernon, Eric, Richard, & Charles are doing a fantastic job.

Great instructors
I had a great time Alan, Tim chamber, and Tim McDonald all have tons of knowledge. They all teach a little differently which is a great thing. They cover all the bases. I got my CDL and I’m on my way to starting a new career.
Best school around
Awesome experience at 160 driving academy in mineral wells. The lead instructor Chad was extremely helpful and guided me to success. Tyler and Gabe were both fantastic and know how teach you in a way that sticks. I would highly recommend this school to anyone that is interested in getting their class A CDL. Hands down the best experience I could have asked for!

I had a very fun experience, and I learned alot. the instructors were very helpful to me during my time at 160. Chad Davis -lead instructor was great with boosting confidence and shifting. Tyler helped me with all my backing manuevers, and Gabe was great with the Road Skills. I would HIGHLY recommend to all those interested in CDL.

Freehold, NJ - Brookdale College location
I attended 160 Driving academy at the Freehold, NJ - Brookdale College location. First, I’m a female student and felt I was treated fairly and equally to my male counterparts. The instructors taught me everything I needed to know to feel prepared and pass my road test, which I did one and done. Instructor Joe was fun and approachable. He talked about real life experiences and was the perfect person for a laugh when you were having an off or stressful day. Instructor Barry was more direct and to the point. But he made sure we had all the tools, materials, and resources to pass our pre trip/in cab and manuevers for the test. The day of the test Instructor Mark met me at the test site and thoroughly explained what I should expect from the examiner which put me at ease. I spent most of my time there working with Instructor Arthur. To my understanding he manages the office, onboards new students, plans out the day etc. but because they were down an instructor he spent the majority of his time hands on in the yard with the students. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. He was extremely patient, he went through each manuever with me step by step, he made us aware of our mistakes but applauded us when we did well. Even when he was in the office doing office work he was still watching us in the yard and providing us with direction through walkie talkies. He asked for student feedback, addressed concerns, and implemented next day changes. He even arranged for me to test in the truck I requested and felt most comfortable in. He was just an amazing instructor all across the board. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking to attend a truck driving school! Chelsea M.
