I have no words but to say Thank You to everyone at 160 Driving Academy in Baltimore. I got to learn skills beyond my expectations and I had a good time learning with the most amazing professionals at this location. Shout out to Rasheed for teaching me how to do alley dock and parallel parking. I'm super grateful for the lesson and skills !! Thank you. Also a Big Thank you to Darryl who helped me learn my pretrip and maneuvers. It was effortless and beyond grateful for that. I would like to give a Big shout out to Eric for the road experience. He helped us boost our confidence behind the wheel and drive at ease. Super grateful for the road experience with Eric. Big Thanks to Mr Toni for the support and always being there to answer our question and teaching us new skills on the road and in the yard. Thanks so much. It's beyond words and passing my cdl today really made me realize I learned from the best and now I'm set for success. Also, Big shout out to Mr. Rich and Dave. They have been the best support system anyone can ask for and they made sure we have the tools and resources to succeed. Mr Dave came to the yard 6am everyday so we have more time to learn and practice . Thanks Dave so much!! Also, thanks Faith for keeping in contact and setting our appointments. Thanks again everyone. I will miss everyone and I'm just super grateful I learned from the best of the best at 160 Driving Academy, and i had tremendous fun in the yard. Beyond words !!
One and done
I really enjoyed the short time I was at 160. Anthony taught me some good skills and gave me some good knowledge about the trucking industry. I also appreciate Sara in the office and other yard instructors
Best instructors most amazing school
I am so happy to have been a student here. They truly believed in me when I had doubts in myself & even when I was hard to deal with they helped me through everything. I couldn’t have done it without these people. Lead instructor Chad Davis brought in another lead Bill Wesley from Florence Kentucky down to help me out, him and lead instructor Chad Davis and Tyler Rhodes fought to get me more hours because I needed a little extra time and they saw how bad I wanted it. Truly great people & great instructors.

The 160 team of Waco made getting my CDL a breeze. I didn't know what I was getting myself into when it comes to driving over the road for the company I worked for but with these guys gave me the confidence and information I needed to succeed. I would like to give a shout out to these 3. Marcus - thank you for sharing your on the road experience and patience you had with me with maneuvers. Marlon - thanks for giving me the driving tips on the road. Keria - thank you for helping me learn my pre-trip until I could recite and point out every single thing on the truck and trailer. I would recommend everyone to go these at 160 Academy of Waco!
Worth the Investment
160 Driving Academy is a fast paced driving school that will give you as much back as you are willing to put in. From Dillon in the office, to James in the yard, the employees actively care about your success and will help you reach your goals. Be ready to work hard, and BE COACHABLE! I earned my CDL in 36 days with 0 experience ever pulling a trailer. It came fast but it did not come easy. If you're looking to make a meaningful change in your life/career, 160 Driving Academy is worth the investment. Just work hard, humble yourself, and don't give up.
Best Staff Ever
The staff was absolutely amazing. They were patient, informative, and have gone above and beyond to assist in every way. I would recommend this school and location to anyone looking to get their license quickly. ONE AND DONE!!!
One and done
My experience couldn’t have been better. Sure some days were more difficult than others, when you’re just learning everything. But the instructors and branch managers will help you with any questions you have along the way as long as you ask them and apply what they are telling you. Doing what your supposed too and making the most of your time really helps and goes along way. I couldn’t have asked for a better school to help me obtain my cdl.

He Changed My Life
My experience with 160 Driving Academy was life changing. I had the opportunity to work with Sam Fujiwara , at the time he was filling in at the location I went to in Denver. When I got there i waited in my truck contemplating if this was the right place for me, I already had a not great experience at US Truck Driving School and the people at Sage were rude too , so I was beginning to think it just might be the trend. When I walked in I was greeted immediately and from there I guess the rest is now history. I gotta say at no point did I feel any pressure from Sam, actually it was the opposite. We discussed my goals , the reasoning for a career change and also the obstacles that I was dealing with internally. He made me feel important and one thing I noticed about him too was his level of professionalism. When asked about the other schools around he never once said anything negative in regards to them he simply just stated the facts, "At 160 you will have an experience of a lifetime , you'll meet people and develop friendships with others in the same place as you. While he empathized the instructors would be thorough ,he also mentioned they would be detailed oriented and precise in the classroom as well." I just want to say thank you to Sam and 160 for having a person like him in your location, if it wasn't for him I would have never pursued this and gave up because of a bad experience. I even invited Sam to my party my parents threw for me to celebrate me getting my CDL. Thank you 160 for having people that truly care but also for teaching people that everyone's situation is different .
