Best ever
So I’m just going to say it. I tried to use Star’s CDL CLASS A facility. But they barely work with you. I tried to pass my backing skills twice and failed. So I signed up for a 40 hour refresher course and with 160 Driving Academy. All the instructors actually work with you and show you what your doing wrong and the right way to do it. I loved going to the training sessions and boy oh boy did I learn a lot. So if your looking for a place to get your CDL CLASS A this I the place you want to be. They have an amazing staff and I passed this time with flying colors. They had me so prepared that I wasn’t even the least bit nervous when taking my test. And I came home everyday on an amazing mood unlike when I went to Star. A huge thanks to the entire staff and all the instructors.

My experience at 160 driving was great. Eddie really went the extra mile to make sure I understood and was always willing to work off of my way of learning versus his way of teaching, and for that I am thankful! I passed with a one and done and I owe it to Eddie with the 160 academy.
Pliable but Worth it
160 Driving Academy is an experience I will always cherish. I say pliable but worth it, the word opposite of pliable is rigid, when I 1st arrived to the yard my instructor Ms TC whom I have the utmost respect appeared to be hard nose and all about business, but she had way to make what appeared to be rigid pliable. Pliable means to stretch and to easily bend and with her passion and humor she was able to stretch and easily bend my mind to grasp everything i needed to know about that truck and made the experience on the yard worth it. Overall the preparation in the class and yard I give it 5 stars.
Easy to Understand
My experience with 160 was great. I was given the information needed to pass the cdl and the instructors made sure I was ready before I went to test. Matt was great with plenty of commentary and showed me all the tips and tricks for driving over the road.
One and done
Julie the branch manager for Palos was very nice and understanding. I was frustrated going to the yard for training but I tried my best and was one and done!

I am happy to be done. One and done as they say. Thank you to all the instructors In Oswego for all of the knowledge they gave to me. They know what they are talking about if your willing to listen.
I am greatly impressed
I didn't know to expect from a virtual classroom. "Would I keep up?, stay awake, or enjoy the process. I was greatly impressed. Our Instructor Andre my it a very comfortable, relaxed and entertaining experience. He knew the material inside and out. He had a wealth of personal experiences. But most importantly, his method of delivery made it so much easier to absorb and retain the material. It was like a good book that you regret having to end. 5 stars for your program and 5.5 stars for the instructor. I envy the students that will have him in the future. Thank you for a great experience.
