Had an awesome time learning

Just want to give a BIG THANKS to my instructor Eddie Muniz had an awesome experience learning from him, just an all around good guy, he had more patience than anyone or myself could ever have lol, we made it through it and definitely lived to see another day, and that was questionable at times. Thanks again Eddie for everything

Outstanding Experience

I went in to this as a previous driver from a few years ago, not expecting to learn as much as I did! The team of instructors at Salt Lake City is amazing!! They helped me break bad habits and reinforced much more solid skills! I learned so much and gained so much respect for the team! The vote of confidence they instilled in me, made taking my exams go flawlessly! I had nerves at every turn, and was ensured I had nothing to stress over. I’d highly suggest anyone interested in pursuing a CDL look here!

AWESOME SCHOOL, HANDS DOWN!

They genuinely care about the students. From the instructor Randy, to the branch manager Tiffany, they go above and beyond to see you succeed. I definitely recommend this school!!!

my time at 160

my time at 160 driving academy was very good! we learned everything we needed to know and more in class to pass the permit test.. when i got out to the yard and started learning pretrip and skills my instrutor ben gordon explained everything in a way that clear and direct. i had no problems learning my skills and driving on the road thanks to mr gordon and the 160 crew. with the information and practice behind the wheel these past few weeks i took my test with confidence and passed! i appreciate the 160 crew and mr gordon for all that iv learned and for all that they have done.. Thank you!

160 DA experience!

I had the pleasure of going to 160DA in Lexington, KY for the past few weeks. I passed my road test today. #OneandDone2023! I had the pleasure of working with Cheryl, David, Mark, Ernie, and Adrian. I deal with social anxiety but before Day one was over, I felt like I was a part of a family. A group of fantastic and highly motivated instructors welcomed everyone. Big thank you to the 160DA team. The whole team of 160DA of Lexington, KY (Branch manager, instructors and others) have been a tremendous help in accommodating me because of my disability. While working on getting what I needed, the 160DA team and the lead instructor Cheryl were strong advocates on making sure I get the education I needed without being left behind. All the instructors I worked with understood my situation, was very accommodating and so happy to work with me. Because of amazing supporting team at 160DA, I was successful. I cannot thank the 160DA team enough for believing in me, supporting, and helping me through school. Other students had a great time and were just as grateful as I am. If you're thinking about getting your CDL and you're wondering where to go. Go to 160DA of Lexington, KY. The instructors and the team are the greatest people who made the journey of becoming a truck driver much more memorable. They made sure everyone was well taken care of. The Road of Freedom Now Begins...

I would never have thought about being a truck driver in a million years. This career was never on my radar. However, when I found myself out of a job (not by my choice), my family and I prayed about this career after a friend recommended truck driving. We believed God was telling us to go in this direction so we did. We scraped up what little money we had and I enrolled. The whole experience was an adventure worthy of a movie...there were wins, losses, tears, frustration, anger, despair, disappointment (I failed the test the first time), and finally the victory of obtaining the CDL. Lou (the branch manager) was encouraging throughout the process. Cheryl (chief instructor) along with Leslie, David, Buck, Ernie, Mark, and Adrian all had the patience of Job especially since I had come from an analytical background and wanted to know how things worked (e.g. overthinking). I would have never thought one recommendation from the veteran portion of the Kentucky Career Center for 160 Driving Academy would be the portal to change...I am so thankful that God put the right people in my life to achieve this milestone and my family is ready to ride on the road of freedom.

The best

The instructors are the best! They want you to pass and will help you if you just ask.

LORI CLASSES IS FIRE !!!!

At first, I was kind of skeptical when the branch manager told me my first three weeks was going to be on online classes whether I went to the New Britain school or did it from home and if you’re anything like me I’m more of a hands on Tyler die that’s how I learn but I’m gonna be honest Lori is a good teacher and she makes those online classes fine and knowledgeable as long as you listen to what she’s talking about and what she’s explaining and you pay attention you are going to learn as downed. The last class was very fun. She turned it into a game, but learning at the same time. Thank you Miss Lori I wouldn’t. I have passed my CDL permit if it wasn’t for you.

Fresh start

160 really wants us to not only pass but to be successful. The instructors gets to know you Individually, this helps them figure out what works for you individually. Tiffany is VERY helpful as well she expects you to learn the information in class rather than memorizing it. All and all I would say 160 really gets you ready for the real world.
