I highly recommend 160 driving academy in Dallas, Texas! Having never driven a big rig , I was a bit nervous. The 40 hrs. of class time was a good experience and then going to the yard and getting into one for the first time was pretty cool! All the instructors at the yard are great! They are truly there for the students. Nate was my primary instructor, and his 5 steps to offset backing and parallel parking are fool proof. When you follow the steps, it works every time! He also teaches how to correct your mistakes ( which is important), because everyone makes mistakes. Whatever you do in step one, can be fixed in step two or three. When I was at the DPS and doing my parallel parking maneuver, I saw that my set up wasn’t great, at all. I didn’t panic , because I knew that I could fix it. I passed! Nate is an excellent teacher! Thank you , Nate! I want to thank George, who stayed after school one day and showed me some things and gave me some tips that helped me when behind the wheel. I want to thank Mitch and Shannon, for taking me on the road and helping me in the yard. I want to thank Keesha, she stayed after school every day for her own students that would be testing in the Day Cab. I was working in the sleeper cab, and she let me stay and practice for at least a half hour every day. One day, it was two hours! She was not getting paid for that extra time! She, and all the instructors proved that they were there for the students. Of course, I was nervous on the morning of my test. Every one of my instructors said, Mark, I believe in you! That helped! I also asked for help from above. I remember quoting a scripture I learned as a kid. “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.” If you will attend 160 driving academy, and listen, study, practice and put the work in, you too, can be a “one and done” club member! Every instructor is so genuinely wanting you to succeed and they treat like family and not a student. They have a nice big spacious yard, multiple trucks, strong culture and a organized daily agenda to help everyone succeed. The only con I can say is they only allow you to test twice, which I feel they should switch back to allowing students to test three times.

Monroe pennsylvania 160 Driving academy was one of the best experiences of my adult life. I traveled all over this world and the instructors and examiners were the greatest people i ever met! I cant thank you all enought i will never forget you all!!

This school was everything I could ask for. Was kind of worried about the fast pace but thanks to Mrs TC and her tough love I was able to drill that pre-trip in my head and had Mr G and Javier to help with the tips and tricks of moving the trailer where I need it to go. The first week I went from not even being able to do a straight back and thanks to these awesome instructors and people I was able to be 1 and done👌🏾

160 driving academy was the right fit for me, because of the wonderful instructors. A special thanks to Lori Mosely for her outstanding educational skills and experience in the field. She made the class an useful source of information in and out of class. With her help I was confident and able to pass all three tests on my first try. Can't wait to further my career in the trucking industry, thank you 160.

Thank you Mrs Lori Mosley. She is a great person and instructor. She is supporting and caring person. I recommend this school for every body. Their quizzes are comprehensive. I hope I pass my driving test soon and celebrate with my 160 driving academy family.

She is a great teacher and answers all of your questions to the best of her ability, you will hear her in your head while you’re taking the test! Always helpful and even has a cd 💿 and a YouTube channel to help you if you need more help I passed on my first shot, but of course you have to want the knowledge and take the class seriously to achieve success! Thank you mrs./miss Lori you helped make my dream a reality by cracking through this thick a** skull and thank you 160 driving academy for having such wonderful educators on your team!
