School review

It is a good school with good instructors. Tim and Percy were very helpful. As was Kelly with all the information and getting me enrolled. The only complaint I have is the yard. It is gravel with a lot of holes. But if you can drive on gravel, driving on pavement will be a piece of cake. Overall I am very satisfied with 160!

great time

it was smooth Kelly was great thanks 160

Excellent Program!!!

My personal experience at 160 Driving Academy was Excellent! I found the program to be very organized, informative, and supportive to the success of each student. They provide the tools, from classroom, to equipment, to driving skills instruction that are necessary to successfully obtain your CDL A. Many thanks to all involved in the program at Belleville, IL for helping me to obtain my CDL A in 160 hours.

Oak Creek, WI ALL THE WAY!

I came from a background of already having some commercial driving experience. I went into the class, thinking this would be a breeze. I WAS WRONG, Jamell, Mike and Terry helped humble me in so many ways. There is always room to learn no matter your "skill" level. There were days when I got frustrated, and I didn't quite understand why they were teaching some of the skills slightly different. I realized that all their lessons pointed us in the same direction but also taught me different perspectives on how to reach certain goals. Thank you, Jamell, Mike and Terry for humbling me! Lets not forget Agata, Her positive encouragements beyond the classroom were reinvigorating. Agata's, door was always open for questions and if for whatever reason she was not quite sure; guaranteed she would give you an answer by the end of day. Thank You, Oak Creek Team!

Awesome

My experience with 160 academy was awesome and a challenge. I loved it from the front office to the yard my instructors were awesome.

Learning how to drive a 18 wheeler

i enjoyed the the leaning of how to straight back . off set . and road test its was a challenge .academy 160 has great instructors and managment people. overaii excellent.

Great Experience

Had a great time from the start,Agata was very informative getting me started on the class enrollment and the initial classroom activities. I have previous experience with heavy trucks so I may have had a hand up but it was a long time ago. So I took this class as a new student in my mind. When I went to the yard I met Jammel, Mike and Terry I had a great time with these guys. Very friendly with each having a little different teaching technique, but I learned alot from each and made it my own. All in all I had alot of fun do this

CDL training

Overall I had a decent experience at 160 driving academy. Percy was really good with helping me with my skill as well as my on the road driving and learning to shift. The pre trip inspection is very vital in passing the CDL and honestly it’s up to the individual student to practice your pre trip inspection. You’re given a piece of paper to study and instructed to study videos on YouTube in your spare time but initially another student went over the physical pretrip with me to teach me the parts on the truck rather than the instructor. All in all I passed and obtained a Class A CDL with no restrictions so it worked itself out. 160 is a good driving school overall but you have to take initiative because the instructors will not hold your hand so to speak

good and bad of 160

my time at 160 was well for the most part. great school great students and ms m is and awesome person. however some things can help improve 160 for the student as far as the yard goes ........ my 1st 2 weeks we did no driving really and time for drivivng shouldn't count against students for driving if they are not i seen a few students upset about this issue later down the line around test times. all instructors where great but MARK needs to understand the 160 way because he can be a downer on students at times til he get in trouble got better later but still. other than that great time at 160 and i thank you all. special thanks to grant and ms jessica for the extra tips. see ll of you in the future.

Oak Creek review

The experience of training in 160 was great. The facility is very nice and clean. Everyone is really nice and helpful. Starting with Agata the branch manager and the instructors Jamell, Terry and Mike. They helped me with getting a job right away which was great. I would recommend 160 Driving Academy to anyone trying to get their CDL.
