My experience
My experience at 160 trucking was great. Met couple guys that became friends with and we keep in contact. Mike aka bear at 160 was great instructor and made me feel comfortable and he loved his job his his students succeed. And thanks to Melissa for everything she does for us. My only complaint is that 160 needs to have someone that place people in jobs when they pass their test.for people that don't go threw with company.the app they have is more for people that has experience than not...glad I am part of the one and done club. my whole experience at 160 was great. From the enrollment process with Denise, to the in class portion. The yard instructors are helpful and care. I have no complaints and will recommend 160

I went to the Lexington, ky campus, Mrs. Cheryle was the best encouraging person to talk to and help me decide what was best for me at the beginning, and then I got to meet 4 of the best instructors this side of the Mississippi, Lead instructor Dav,Buck , uncle Buck as I call him, Mark my friendly ghost lolol and Mitch was hands down the most direct but understandable teacher I could have ask for, being a woman I felt very intimidated at first, that changed that perspective from jump, they was hard on us only to the understanding of not letting you quit nor give up on yourself and to trust the process, big giants with big hearts!!!!! I would recommend them over n over n over n over again!!!! Thanks 160 driving academy Lexington,ky you taught me so much and I walk away with hundreds more of understanding and knowledge then I did the first day I came and my self esteem is through the roof but I’m still humbled!!!!!!
Excellent Casual Mastery!
My experience at 160 was much better than I expected. I expected it to be stuffy and rigid, but the reality was the total opposite. The atmosphere and the flow of things at the Reno/Carson City training yard was very casual and personable, but don't let the chill demeanor of the instructors fool you. All of the instructors were extremely experienced, knowledgeable, skilled, helpful, patient, and just plain friendly. They did whatever was necessary to help you understand everything required to pass the CDL DMV tests. The only things I wasn't the biggest fan of was that all of the training trucks weren't the same and that the training needed a little more focused structure. Overall, my time at 160 was great, the instructors are pure gold, and I would highly recommend people to 160. I'm grateful I chose 160.

From day one when I walked into the office and met Isaiah. 160 just felt like the right place to be. He was very prompt, professional and knowledgeable of what it took to become a professional driver. I moved to the yard and met the instructors Anton, Fletcher, Q and Sarge. They were all full of knowledge and hands-on of every aspect in you learning the skills to be able to pass your test at the end of your training. All the information you needed is available. You just apply yourself and take ownership of your actions and you're going to leave feeling accomplished. Who knows you might just make a lasting friendship. Thanks guys for pouring your time and knowledge into me. I'll definitely be sending all my friends to 160 Driving Academy.
Excellent Akron Location
My experience has been excellent. Lisa was very informative, answered all my questions. She even worked with me on payment plan. She was very helpful getting the process started. The New classroom is very well maintained and extremely clean. Our in class trainer Liz was amazing. She explained everything to us in a clear, concise fashion. She answered all our questions. She was very friendly and cheerful. I have enjoyed the experience very much.

OUTSTANDING INSTRUCTORS!
It was difficult in the beginning not knowing how to drive manual but within a couple weeks i got the hang of it! i tested out and passed in a 10 speed thanks to OL Ralphs professional guidance and both Cathy + Anthonys positive reinforcement! i could not have asked for a better outcome so thank you all!
