Awesome Experience
Last year I signed up to a different CDL school and it was nothing like 160. The other school struggled to find space and time for me to practice driving and used a simulator for testing before I was allowed in a truck. Here I had as much help as I asked for, all instructors were available to assist and provide proper technique, as soon as I completed my permit I was in a cab the next school day and learning hands on. Thanks for all the help from the ladies in the office and the instructors for helping me on my way to a better career.

It was definitely a learning experience. Definitely trains and teaches you what you need to know on skills and knowledge on getting your cdl by far great hands on and learning. Definitely recommend if your trying to get your cdl.
Great class
Class went smooth, ran very professionally. Instructors were great, easy to get along with. Very informative, all questions answered and solutions offered right away.

Terry was a straight up instructor that taught you the ropes and basics. I really enjoyed my time at 160 learning the basics of how to professionally operate a commercial vehicle.

I don’t know how the other driving school’s works. but special too Marcel, Austin and James love what you guys did there if it wasn’t you guys don’t know if we’re to get my license or pass for the first test so thank you so much. And Chris u need to get your shi* together man sorry but had to mention that .
Best Learning Experience I’ve ever had.
The South Bend 160 drive academy location, has now changed my life and my career. I was a 1 & done on my test and I owe it all to my instructors. Pete, Dwight, Ralph, & Mike are wonderful instructors. I’ll recommend them to anyone, the program from start to finish from the classroom to the CDL road test is very well designed for to succeed with flying colors. 160 Drive Academy has the best training out of anybody out there and it shows!
Best school ever to get your CDL
My first week on the yard was horrible, my brain couldn't click on how to maneuver the trucks. I almost gave up and threw the towel because I thought I could never become a truck driver. But Tyson and Marvin in the Pearland location helped me out the whole way, I listened to everything they told me and started to progress every day I was attending school. They are very knowledgeable, and have a lot of patience to teach. I really want to thank Tyson and Marvin again for everything they thought me. Now I obtained my CDL and I'm ready to hit the road.

160 Driving Academy was the best school I could have ever attended to get my CDL. The classroom experience was great and Kathy was the best at getting me started. My yard instructors Mike,Pete,Joe, Francis, Chris,Dwayne and Russ were all attentive to each student they helped me with every single thing I thought I was lacking in and would fail. Mike even worked weekends to help you more if needed. Without you guys I wouldn't have never passed and I will never forget you neither! Life-changing experience but for the better. Thank you so much
Amazing experience
From start to finish I ended school in 3 weeks. I had Bryon as my instructor and I could not have been more thankful. I worked with a few other instructors and Bryon was by far the best. He was more than willing to stay late and come in on weekends to train me so I could test out early because I already had a job lined up. Some of the other instructors made it very confusing with the wording of the pre trip and with by the time i was done with Bryon it sounded like I was reciting the papers word for word. I would not recommend any school besides this one.

I really enjoyed training with John and Collin during my time at 160 driving academy. They both gave me all the tools and information i needed to be successful in obtaining my class A CDL. All their help and encouragement supplied me with the confidence to safely and properly complete my driving test. Thank you all again.
