BEST SCHOOL AND INSTRUCTORS
Chad Davis was one of the nicest, easy-going, guy I've ever met. Most patient man I came across I mean I came in not knowing jack crap about trucks and Chad prepared me to ace my CDL exam. whatever you guys pay him you dont pay him enough. lol just kidding!! Thank you 160 for everything.
The Best of the Best!!!
The Peoria 160 Driving Academy should be called Miramar. This school is the Best of the Best. Tiffany at the office was very professionally polite and very helpful in setting up the schooling. She was always checking to see if you were doing okay and if you needed anything. Thank you Tiffany!!!! The truck yard has got three very professional, patient, experienced drivers that instruct in a way that everyone learns how to drive safely. They teach and explain in terms that everyone gets their meaning. I’m so very glad that I chose to take the class through 160 Driving Academy. The experience was fantastic. I would recommend this facility to everyone!!! Thank you Tiffany, Randy, Doug and Sean so very much for everything that you did during my schooling. You all are the BEST!!!! Thanks, Dave

Graduate student
Im so honored to be part of 160 driving academy school. I'm want to give the biggest shout out to Instructor Y. Slater. From the first day Slater give me great directions to my test day. I promise I would of not made it without Slater great wisdom and knowledge about driving and maneuvering these trucks for my career in trucking. I laughed , cried, and even walk out but Ole Slater motivated me back in to pass my driving skill on the first time. Thanks Instructor Y. Slater you are the truth! I not going to leave out Yard manager - Mr. Zed(Mr.Ppl Champ insider love his witty story of life) INSTRUCTOR Shuan - (Mr .Boss...he made sure stuff was done and give you life experience story that I will put in my black book... A super great instructor) Instructor Michael - this amazing Aries was greatest philosopher on trucking. He told me the structure of being one with the tractor and trailer.Mr Pop quiz " what's the coupling and uncoupling system".. I have gain an extended family that I will never lose contact with in this lifetime. Thank so much for the great learning experience North Little Rock 160 Driving Academy! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Best instructor EVER!!!!
I went to the Houston Location(Oates Rd) and must say everything is a learning process, and will take time. What I can say is, the instructors there two in particular, one being Mr. G, who is the most knowledgeable and most helpful person you would ever get to experience in this field. Not only does he know his stuff he is very passionate about teaching and it shows. He applied the knowledge in ways easiest to comprehend but also easy to execute on the yard, at the DPS and most importantly the world of TRUCKING. Since we can be hard on ourselves at time and become quite frustrating in the process, patience was needed and he was there thru the whole process in FULL support mode. Then there was Mr. Tim, my time spent with Mr. Tim was very short, but nevertheless much was learned from this gentleman here, his experience in the field made it easy to quickly fix any common mistakes keeping a few things in mind. He helped me master my ultimate fear…. Right turns and now I am a truck driver. Bring a woman coming into this field, 160 Driving Academy but most importantly my instructors gave me all the confidence to dominate this field and I will make them proud. If you want to drive trucks go to 160 Academy but if you want to master driving trucks you go to 160 Academy of Houston and get the best hand down training from Mr. G and Mr. Tim. Thanks for making this experience pleasant for me. And thanks 160 Academy from the class to the yard.
Walk in with an open mind
Before attending class, I had the mindset that learning could not be fun or practical based on my previous experiences with grade school. However, my educator, Lori, made the experience interesting through class discussions of the "why" and "how" with regards to general knowledge, air brakes, and combination brakes. I left the classroom with a strong understanding of the material. Thanks Lori!
