My experience at the McKees Rocks 160 Yard
I appreciate Collin & John at 160 academy, for the amazing experience and professional atmosphere on the yard!! The best 3 weeks of school i had…I’m happy I graduated but sad I will not be in school any longer with them! But I will visit time to time too motivate the students that they can do this and tell them if they listen to Colin & John they will for sure get CDL! Thanks again Collin & John!!
Greatest driving school available
Had a great experience met many new people that were all great to me taught me more then I thought I would ever be able to learn so fast great all around place very helpful and great instructors thank u all very much for your time and patience.
You must do this for yourself and your future
If you are pivoting in the work force for to a layoff, or you are unemployed for different reasons and you want to learn a skilled trade that you can make great money doing, this location is for you. From the school manager Martec to the instructors tyler and Gabe and the yard boss Chad they encouraged me every single step of the way. I was a government underwriter for mortgage loans for 32 years, and age 50 this school with this team made it possible for me to get a new skilled career to provide for my family. You never know what you CAN do until you try.

I had the best experience at 160. All of my instructors were highly experienced with decades of knowledge to be able to teach and provide me the confidence to get behind the wheel and succeed. It was overwhelming how much information we got in one week, however I passed my practice exams on cdl prep due to taking these courses. It helped me a lot to understand how brakes work and just general knowledge of tractor trailers that i didn’t know before. Plus the class wasn’t boring so that’s a plus lol
