Great school

Really informational great help and best experience I’ve had in school Dave is a great instructor

Great Instructors

Instructor’s were of great help. Very knowledgeable on the content and very thorough. Would recommend this school.

These guys were the real deal!

160 driving academy is the real deal. I came in with minimal knowledge on how to operate a CMV and walked out ready to drive. I called others companies before 160 and got zero calls back. Ed was prompt when I inquired and answered all of my questions. Their price was the best in town and they prepare you well. After I passed my permit test I was met by Tracy in the yard. She made it easy to understand and worked with me on all my weak points until I was better. She pushed me out of my comfort zone and prepared to pass my test with flying colors. I recommend 160 to anyone wanting to obtain their CDL, and I’m so happy I used their program!

160-Pittsburgh

I attended the Pittsburgh 160, my favorite part was going to the yard. Colin was so patient, he was a great instructor and so easy to learn from. He didn’t rush you out the cab for the next student, he was like-able. If a problem arose, he was on it. He made me feel comfortable learning at my own pace. Because of him a not only had the skills to past my cdl test on my first attempt. When I did my parallel park I got nervous and had to reset and when you reset you are on your own. No one lines you up, you have to put yourself in the parking spot. Because of Colin I had the skills I needed to line myself up and fix the mistake, like I really knew how to move and maneuvers the truck and trailer to get myself into that spot. I feel like I’m really prepared and I have the tools I need to be a skillful and safe driver, I owe that to Colin in Pittsburgh. Thank you, seriously I was just offered a job starting at $104k ($2k a week) and I am only almost 3 weeks out of school. 160 is changing my life. Thanks again Collin, I owe you big time! And special shout out to all my class mates, we really learned a lot from each other. I wish you all the best careers and I hope to see you guys out on the road.

Best experience ever

I attended 160 driving academy online classes, my instructor Andre Gambrell did more than an amazing job. He was very very knowledgeable, funny, made the class fun, and gave me all the tools I needed to pass my written test! This experience will change my life forever and I cannot be more thankful! I 100000% recommend 160 driving academy to those who are looking to get into the trucking world, this is the first step to a better future…thanks again!! Miguel P

Amazing service

The instructors at the trenton yard were the best and are the best I never had a bad experience with them and even learned something new every day wether it was or wasn't apart of the curriculum. As well as also preparing us extensively for our testing day

Put your heart into it, Leave the BS at the door.

I gonna skip the online course a bit, not to say it wasn't insightful as well as educational but at this point it was awhile ago and that part of it is kind of of a blur to me at this point. I do remember that I went to the DMV first to pass all my tests (General knowledge, Air brake, and Combination) to help speed up the processes before I started anything and yes good move on my behalf. After I finished/passed my online courses, I was sent to my yard in Trenton, NJ. My lead instructor Carlos, straight up kept it a hundred percent with me, more or less in what he said "I'm not gonna hold your hand;" and by his words alone I knew had to take this very seriously in order to achieve my CDLs that I now successfully hold in my possession. The rest of his team were on the same page, if you care they'll work with you and if you don't, hey it's not their money being spent for the course, just being real. But all in all it was worth it and now I'm still young and set for life and it's all grateful thanks to the team of 160 academy yard of Trenton, NJ. WOOOP WOOOP!!
