Great training and instructors
Would recommend to anyone looking to get their cdl and to start their new career. I had zero experience and my instructors helped me learn quickly and precisely. Special thanks to instructor Pat who told me I could do it even when I doubted it myself. Thanks again to everyone at Charleston WV 160 Driving Academy
Julie Mensching the Unicorn!
Julie Menscing is the best part of my time and experience with 160 academy. The journey for me was bumpy sometimes, but she was in your corner. She was helpful and reassuring every step of the way. She’s a unicorn!!!

From the beginning to the end the team made sure I got the training needed to succeed! Trust the process and you’ll be driving a big rig before ya know it!
Easy and flexible
Had a busy schedule and the crew worked around it with me and made easy adjustments to get me through the course and onto the road. It doesn't matter if you know alot or very little about trucking, they'll have trained and ready to go and make getting a class A cdl A breeze.
160 offers a great training experience.
My experience at 160 was excellent. My training was at Peoria which appears to be one of the smaller classrooms in the state when compared with much larger metro areas that 160 covers. The instructors and the staff at the Peoria branch are all very accommodating and helpful to allow ALL the students to learn within their means regardless of prior experiences or none in the industry. I recommend 160. Just like anything regarding training and life experiences. You get out of it what you put into it. Put in the work. Follow the program. Mutual respect with the staff and your fellow students is the key to your success at 160. I am very thankful for their professionalism. (Tell them I sent you... ;)...$$) D. Alonso
