Just recently graduated from 160 yesterday! Gotta give a big shout out to the Huntington WV yard instructors! Some of the very best guys you could ask for to teach you how to drive! Roger Edwards and Paul Artist were my two main instructors teaching me everything about driving the truck. Broke everything down from guiding the trailer, pretrip, shifting, and numerous other things that had to do with the truck. Couldn’t have done it without them! Some of the very best guys I’ve ever met in my life. 160 definitely should recognize these guys as they have had pretty sure 11 one and dones now in a row. Great group of guys. Now time to start my journey! — in Huntington, West Virginia.
My Experience
As a student coming from Boston and looking for the best school that could get me my Cdl was very hard.Coming to 160 drive was the best choice I ever made it was very exciting the reason why is because my branch manager Stephanie walk me through everything I needed to know she was very sweet and nice but she is all about Business. Now I don’t even know we’re should I start when it came down to working on the yard.And let me tell you my lead instructor Eddie this man was sent to from heaven this man never gave up on me he always had faith in me even though I didn’t he always said hey look at me remember why you came here you didn’t come here for nothing do this for your son. And Mr. Brian my instructor this man never left my side not one’s we had over ups and down the reason why is because I wanted to give up he told me I believe in you when I first started to work on offset this man kept making me get out the truck and look when you here Brian say’s pull your breaks and come here I was getting mad when he kept doing that until I understand what I was doing and what I was looking at I was getting frustrated every time and I started to realize why he was doing it he said Alex if you want your trailer to go right turn your wheels to the left when it was time for me to do alley dock this man made me cry because I wanted the easy way out and he was not having it he said you better not come this far and now you want to gave up he said I have faith in you I’m giving you all I got you better take it and run with it you just got to trust the process and let the trailer do some work you can’t do all the work for the trailer just trust the process and I did I could truly say if it wasn’t for Eddie and Brian and John and Daniel I don’t know how would I pass the CDL they had nothing but tough love They never gave up on me If I had the chance to refer anyone to this school I would the reason why is because of these guys If I gave every detail about my experience in the school I would have wrote a book I love you guys and now I am a graduate from 160 driving academy if I could do it you could do it to.
Great Class
Enrollment was quick and easy thanks to Megan. The classroom course was interesting and informative. Eric did a great job teaching the pretrip and maneuvers. Past my exam on the first try. Overall was a great experience.
Awesome School
My experience with 160 had been great I love how my instructors work really hard to get me where I needed to be this school has really changed my life I am thankful for 160.
One and done
Very good school highly recommend Connersville Troy and Eric are great instructors they are hard on you at school but when you go take your test it’s very easy! After being trained by Eric and Troy passed my test first try.

Had a great time with 160..it was a great Experience in the class and on the yard,the whole team is awesome from Emma to Rick LEARNED ALOT!!!! A+ 5 star rating!!!
I Think I Can
It was a really great opportunity. The whole experience allows you to work on your strengths and just keep getting better from there. The team in South Bend was really helpful and made sure everyone was able to continue to grow and pass without a doubt.

They were patient and taught me how to lock in and understand and retain everything that I’ve learned. The discipline and structure of the program has helped me gain knowledge, discipline, and long term skill assets. The additional assistance and extra mile each and every instructor has gone to make sure our program was smooth, well-rounded. And worth every minute, Is why 160 will always have my greatest recognition and support. Great instructors
Great communication with all the instructors. They really help you understand if you are struggling, if you put forth the effort they see that and really work with you. All the instructors were very helpful with making sure you know and understand all the information and excellent job with helping you perform the tasks to get you cdl ready.
