The class work was very educating. I've been driving trucks for over 24 years ,this course is an excellent review. Laura, Tracy, Danny and Zach are excellent instructors at the yard. I did learn new things. Safety is always their priority. They are very disciplined and motivated at the yard. On the office, Mr. Brent Erickson is always present with the correct answers. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you guys so. So much
Just show up
I had a great experience schooling at 160! The woman in office Becky, was so friendly and always helped me figure out my next step. My yard instructors Collin and John were extremely helpful and determined to get the class to pass their final test. Their different teaching styles work very well together too lol. As long as you just show up, put in an effort, and use your time wisely.. you will succeed.

James made preparation for the exam incredibly smooth and easy. I probably would've have done fine anywhere else, but I wouldn't have gained the same amount of confidence or received the same amount of attention as a student. James was always willing to answer questions, no matter how dumb.

Everyone was very professional and helped me to get one and done I would recommend this training facility for anyone wanting to get their CDLs
1ST TRY CDL A GRADUATE
My experience with the Memphis crew of 160 ACADEMY was eye opening and amazing for myself and my husband who graduated during the summer months of 2023. We are proud to say we attended this school! Everyday was a excellent learning experience, especially the PRETRIP FOR YOUR LIFE (game) sessions... Keep up the Great work (staff)and keep applying pressure to all the students!!
Golden ticket
The experience I had at 160 has been exceptional. Chris was my instructor and he did a great job giving me advice and tips to achieve my skills. Chris is patient and has great communication skills. He doesn’t just focus on one student but all his students. You just have to come ready to learn and achieve your goals each day. Jeff has been good to me as well he is always giving advice and tips to help with knowing how the tractor and trailer work with each other. I would say that Chris and Jeff are the best instructors there and they want you to win. They answer all your questions, are patient, great with communication, and know what they’re talking about. They both have at least 18 years of trucking experience. They taught me so well I didn’t have to complete all the hours and finished a week and half early when Chris submitted me. I took my CDL test one time and passed. I’m a one and done and have a GOLDEN TICKET. Ms. Nita in the front office got me a job the same day I passed my test and I got an interview the next day. I’m very thankful for the experience.
Best Trucking Class
160 Driving Academy was the best they taught me that i can do anything i put my mind to with the best instructors . They taught me manual an i thought i would never be able to drive stick shift but now i have my cdl thanks to 160 Driving Academy

My experience With 160 Driving Academy at Prairie State was great. The learning environment is good, the teaching and curriculum really helped me with obtaining my CDL.

Hello my name is Miguel and when I started looking into getting my CDL I came across these people and I’m sure glad I found them everyone that the Chattanooga office are really great people and at the 160 training center so called there yard every CDL instructor there was really good at explaining everything and making things clear I could ask the same questions 10 times and never got a bad response or anything always willing to explain things over as many times as I needed a big thanks to Bill , Richard, John, Emory,and Wilson a bunch of great guys thanks for everything job well done
