Kansas City Truck Driving School

Before you can start your truck driving career, you must pass a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) exam. At 160 Driving Academy, we have many local campuses throughout the country, so Kansas City residents can sign up for our training program right away.

Your Local Truck Driving School

When you come to our Kansas City truck driving school, you can expect outstanding instruction and personalized attention from our teachers. Throughout the four-week program, you must complete 160 total hours of instruction. The course is designed to teach you all the necessary knowledge and skills you need to get your CDL.

Best of all, we have one instructor for every four students, so you can get your questions answered throughout each portion of our course:

  • Classroom Instruction: Before we let you take the driver’s seat, we spend one week in the classroom. This time not only prepares you for the driving portion, but it also teaches you all you need to know to pass the written part of your exam.
  • Field Instruction: Once you have completed 40 hours in the classroom, it’s time to take what you learned and apply it behind the wheel. Before the course is over, you will have 120 hours of driving time under your belt.
