I recently completed the Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training program at 160 Driving Academy in Barstow, Ca and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Thanks to the outstanding instruction and support I received throughout the program, I successfully passed my CDL driving test on my first attempt at the Lancaster, California DMV on July 7 and earned my CDL. I want to give special recognition to my instructors, Z, J, and Dom. Each of them brought a unique teaching style while consistently demonstrating professionalism, patience, and dedication. They explained every lesson clearly and concisely, making even the most challenging maneuvers easier to understand. Their dependable guidance gave me the confidence to improve my driving skills every day. The instructors emphasized safe driving habits, proper vehicle control, pre-trip inspections, backing techniques, and the fundamentals that every commercial driver needs to succeed. They were always willing to answer questions, provide constructive feedback, and encourage me to keep improving. Their real-world experience and practical advice prepared me not only to pass the CDL exam but also to begin a successful career in the trucking industry.
